At the beginning of July 2021, I started to develop a line of corset tops. I started with a base corset top pattern I had created previously for my “Wear Your Groove On Your Sleeve” collection, and graded up two sizes, creating a size range consisting of a small, medium, and large. I used these patterns to create the blue jacquard corset top. To create the pink quilted top, I altered my new base patterns so that the straps extended entirely from the back bodice, connecting to the front with eyelets and ribbon. The jacquard top is lightly structured, using leftover packaging materials in place of rigilene boning. It has a modesty panel that allows for seamless and adjustable sizing and coverage. After sewing all of the tops, I photographed them and posted them on my online shop and business instagram.
